Sports  Premium

The Government is providing funding to provide new, substantial school sport funding in order to improve the provision of physical education and sport in schools. This funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport and will see money going directly to schools to be spent on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children. The PE and Sport Premium funding is being used to improve PE and Sport Provision across the school.

Our objectives for the use of the PE and Sports Premium are:

· To promote high quality physical education

· To improve confidence amongst staff in the delivery of high quality PE lessons across the school.

· To promote positive attitudes to health and wellbeing

· To ensure children’s physical development leads to better outcomes for children in terms of physical skills such as writing; personal, social and emotional development; communication and language.
